Mapping Channels
Learn how to route incoming emails from your shared inboxes directly into specific Slack channels.
Pro Tip
We recommend creating dedicated public or private channels for your inboxes before mapping them (e.g., `#inbox-support` or `#inbox-sales`).
How to Map an Inbox
- Open your Slack workspace.
- Navigate to the Connect App.
- Pick the email account you want to route (e.g., support@yourcompany.com).
- Select the dropdown Select channel section, click the dropdown menu to select the destination channel.
Once mapped, all new emails sent to that address will automatically appear as individual messages in the selected Slack channel.
