Collaborate with your team behind the scenes. Discuss issues privately before drafting a final response to the client.
How to leave an internal note
By default, everything you type directly into the Slack thread of an email is treated as an Internal Note. The client will never see these messages.
- Click on the email block to open the Slack thread.
- Type your message in the chat bar (e.g., "@sarah Can you pull the billing history for this client?") and hit send.
- Your message will appear normally in the thread for your team to read.
Safety First
Connect will only send an email to the client if you explicitly open the Reply Modal and click "Send". Standard chat messages in the thread are safely contained within Slack.
