Connecting Outlook

Integrate your Microsoft 365 or Outlook shared inboxes directly into your Slack workspace.

Authorization Steps

  1. Open your Connect App inside Slack.
  2. Navigate to the Inboxes tab.
  3. Click the Add New Inbox button.
  4. Select Sign in with Microsoft.
  5. Log in using the credentials of the specific shared inbox you want to connect (e.g., sales@yourcompany.com).
  6. Accept the requested permissions to allow Connect to manage emails on that account's behalf.

Shared Mailboxes vs. User Mailboxes

Connect fully supports Microsoft Shared Mailboxes. Ensure that the person authorizing the connection has "Send As" and "Read and Manage" permissions for the target Shared Mailbox in your Exchange admin center.
